I'm so glad you're here!

My heart behind Faith Speaks is simple: to encourage others to know God's Word, grow in their faith, discover the power of the Holy Spirit, and boldly live out what they believe.

My journey with God has been one of transformation, healing, deliverance, and learning to walk in obedience to His Word.

There was a time in my life when fear, pride, anger, addiction, and the effects of abuse had a stronghold on me. But God had a different plan!

When I was 33 years old, the Lord delivered me and filled me with the Holy Spirit. That's when I began noticing things changing in my life! The Holy Spirit started a transforming work in me, and as I learned to trust God, study His Word, and obey His leading, my life began to look very different.

"Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," Says the LORD of hosts. — Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV)

God delivered me from things that once held me captive. He taught me that my past did not have to determine my future and that through Him, I could become the person He created me to be.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

And here's what makes this journey so wonderful: God didn't stop working in me when He delivered me. He continues to teach me, stretch me, and transform me as I follow Him.

And He's still working in me today!

Philippians 1:6 reminds us that the One who began a good work in us will continue that work until the day of Jesus Christ.

A Passion for Teaching and Sharing God's Word

For more than 33 years, I had the privilege of teaching and encouraging high school and college students. Education has always been close to my heart but so has ministry.

As an ordained minister, I love studying Scripture, discovering the richness of God's Word, and helping others understand how biblical truth applies to everyday life.

Now, in this new season of life, I'm excited to bring those passions together through Faith Speaks with Lori.

I believe God's Word is meant to do more than fill our minds with knowledge. It is meant to shape how we think, what we believe, what we speak, and how we live.

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." — James 1:22 (NKJV)

That's what I want to encourage others to do—not simply hear God's Word but put it into practice and allow it to transform their lives.

Why Faith Speaks?

Faith Speaks was born out of a desire to encourage believers to give voice to their faith.

Throughout Scripture, we see the importance of believing God's Word, speaking in agreement with His truth, and walking in obedience to Him.

"And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, 'I believed and therefore I spoke,' we also believe and therefore speak." — 2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV)

This Scripture beautifully expresses the heart behind Faith Speaks. What we believe in our hearts should be reflected in what we speak and how we live.

Through biblical teachings, personal testimonies, and Spirit-led conversations, my prayer is that Faith Speaks will be a place where people are encouraged, strengthened, and inspired to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

I want to share not only what God has done in my life but also the incredible things He is doing in the lives of others.

Revelation 12:11 says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” 

Meaning: This verse emphasizes overcoming Satan through the victory of Jesus Christ, the testimony of believers, and their faithfulness to Christ even in the face of death.

Let's Grow in Faith Together!

You don't have to have everything figured out to begin walking in faith. God is faithful, His Word is true, and the Holy Spirit is our Helper.

"So, then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." — Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

Whether you're just beginning your journey with Christ or have walked with Him for many years, my hope is that you'll find encouragement, biblical truth, and a renewed desire to pursue everything God has called you to do.

This is a place where faith finds its voice, testimonies are shared, and lives are changed through the power of God.
